After a long decline, Miss Sheba, also known as Miss Evil, passed away at home this morning. The last few weeks of her life she spent dining on gooshy food and living in a posh penthouse (okay, our master bedroom) and being waited on hand in foot. Despite her evil moniker, she was one of the sweetest cats.

Yes, yes, that’s our silly Monster Cat. The photo is almost old enough to be a flashback but I think he still looks for his toes now so we’ll just call it Monster Cat in one of his many Natural States.

Monster Cat: Monthly Quota

The Monster Cat is still a little unenthusiastic but he’s much less unhappy. I would say he has a case of the blahs at this point. Luckily we’re experiencing none of the howling witnessed on Wednesday of last week. (He’d be hoarse by now if he were still howling anyway…) He’s subdued but that’s an improvement. For his next trick he’ll figure out how to get a yogurt treat multiple times a day rather than just once.
