Fabulous weekend and stuff

A good, leisurely weekend. Though it seems we did a lot: failing to find patio furniture, grilling, a good time at the gym, succeeding at finding the perfect patio furniture with a bonus of finding the perfect coffee table and tv stand after 5+ years of searching (we didn’t even measure – they were just completely perfect and we were clever enough to recognize that and take them home), Easter bunny deliveries, tasty breakfast food, a bad movie, and general fun and relaxation.
Oh and the Red Sox beat the Yankees in their home opener Sunday evening. It was a great game – a microcosm of the ups and downs of a whole season distilled into one game! (A typical game or season for me usually goes like this… “Oh! They’re behind already!” “Crap, they screwed up!” “They’re still in the running!” “But their pitching staff has left the building…” “Oh! Look! Tie game!” “Oh! Oh!” “We’re winning!!!” “One more inning…” “One more out…” “HURRAY!!!!!” Being a Red Sox fan is all about faith under fire.)
Today was productive even if it didn’t seem it. I hit the gym for a good session first thing. I did some testing for work a good chunk of the day and then did some re-testing. After a small panic, we determined the bug I was seeing was not related to what we were testing (an integration process) but a browser/platform issue. Hurray! I didn’t achieve all my errands, but I did get some of them done.
Creative plans (and more testing for work) for the rest of the week. Oh and taxes… whee… The paperwork is prepped. I procrastinated a lot this year.
