As expected, the doctor today told me I was doing everything right and that I should keep at it to kick this “very nasty virus” that has stolen my voice. I have a little voice back today, actually… I’m trying to use it sparingly because it still feels easily strained. The doctor was highly amusing. She offered but did not push prescription cough suppressants (eeeeeek! codeine!). I think I’ll keep her for a while.
That’s really all I’ve got today besides a headache from so much coughing. TTFN!
