At least we can assume he's not scarred for life by the experience...

Several friends helping our housemate move out yesterday experienced the howling, whining and pathetic inherent in the Monster Cat when he’s cooped up against his will. The poor little cat was tricked into getting attention on my desk then I left and closed the door. I know I’m horrible. But this way he wasn’t underfoot while large, heavy things were being moved and we could leave the door open for easier transfer to the truck. He needed recovery time though… after all the night before he’d been the center of attention for a bunch of fans which wore him out and then he got sequestered! It’s hard being the cat!
