I slept really well (comparatively speaking) last night. It’s remarkable to be vaguely well-rested today.

I think I’m addicted to CuteOverload.

I’m heading up to Connecticut for a very quick trip next week - leaving Sunday, coming back Tuesday. Should be just enough time to get stuff done.

A test round of hot peppers are in the dehydrator. I may or may not be infusing the first floor with the equivalent of pepper spray. (This dehydrator doesn’t have a fan, so I think it will be fine.) The cayenne peppers just starting to ripen. The other varieties are on the cusp of starting to ripen too. I have a hard time waiting though.

I know my peppers need heat and sun to ripen but I’d like to remind the weather gods that it’s September now. It would be just fine if they’d like to cool it down a bit. 92° is a little too warm right now.
